Hardcore Hammers Raptor

The Hardcore Hammers Raptor Axe is Hardcore’s smaller axe, with the 4140 alloy steel head weighing in at 1.36kg (3lbs) on a  choice of a stout 72cm (28″) or sturdy, longer 92cm (36″) hickory shaft.

After perfecting hatchets, Hardcore Hammers decided to take on something a little bigger that has been conspicuously absent from the marketplace, an American-made, full size axe that can fill the #1 spot as the best in the world. Finished with a polyurethane clear coat. The poly coat seals the open cells, repels water, and keeps the handle from shrinking, but is much easier to maintain. It’s pretty much one and done, and doesn’t attract dust and dirt like the oil does.
